As the days begin to cool off and the feeling of fall settles in, I find myself trying out new recipes and finding ways to stay cozy. A Golden Milk latte is one of my old time favorite warming beverages that soothes and warms both the body and the spirit.

The herbs and spices used in this recipe offer many benefits to our body.

  • Turmeric is know to decrease inflammation, supporting bone and joint health
  • Ginger root helps aid our digestive tracts, as we tend to get sluggish as the weather changes to cooler days and brisk evenings.
  • Cinnamon holds the warming benefits of anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. It can also promote healthy digestion and improve colon function.
  • Black Pepper is rich in antioxidants, which can help prevent or delay the damaging effects of free radicals found throughout our body.
  • Himalayan salt brings this drink to full on Level Up mode! The benefits of pure pinks salts are endless, from supporting our skin and improving digestion, to easing circulatory and respiratory aliments, to improving hydration. Without a fine balance of salts and water in our cellular systems our bodies would not function properly.
So not only does this delicious fall beverage warm us up, it has us feeling our best.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!
